Feather Flickers wins the cleaning contract from IMG at the open Golf for the 3rd year running!
After undertaking a successful contract for London based company IMG, the world's premier and most diversified sports, entertainment and media company at the Open Golf Championship for the last 2 years in Royal Birkdale and Turnberry, Feather Flickers have been awarded the contract again at this year's tournament in St Andrew's between 11th and 18th July 2010.
A team of 8 people left the offices of Feather Flickers for 8 days from Sunday 11th July to embark on a contract worth many thousands of pounds, their brief being to clean the main base at IMG headquarters in St Andrew's, along with 2 other IMG bases and more than 20 residential properties being rented by some of the best known golfers in the world.
The main base was used to host golfers during the tournament and to provide for their every need - from managing their tee off times to catering for them.
Some of the staff also spent time helping in the kitchen and waiting on for IMG's clients where a very broad base of food was served from the 'Best of British' to 'Bollywood' and 'Italian' to 'Mexican'.
Greg Gottig, said, "It was very exiciting to be part of the Open Championship again and having been to a number of the open venues we throughly enjoyed serving IMG World again at St Andrews which is the place where the game was born and is still the finest golf destination in the world. Golf has been a way of life there for more than 500 years and it is the continuing respect for the traditions of the game which gives the place its unique atmosphere."
Greg also said, "Thanks to all of the staff who worked tirelessly all week to ensure everything went so smoothly".
